IT'S ALIVE........!!!

My patient, Mr Lim was telling me his experience how tales of wild animals can help to save lives. It all started when he was a little boy when he first encountered a leopard in BukitTinggi. He was sitting in his father's car when the high beam shone on a full grown spotted leopard crossing a road . They both froze in the car while waiting for the animal to dash for the jungle nearby.

Fifteen years ago, it was nightfall as his friend from Titi was driving up the hilly and winding road to Genting Peres. Suddenly a big stripped animal dashed in front of his car. It was too late to brake and the car khnocked the animal head-on. Having recovered his composture, he looked at the 'victim' and it came to his senses that it was a tiger. It appeared not to be moving and appeared dead. Out of curosity he got out of his car and approach the dead tiger. He looked down at the tiger when suddenly the 'dead' tiger got up and reared its paws at the man who was so shocked that he was rooted to the ground. As the car high beam lights were on, instead of attacking the man, the tiger quickly slipped away to the nearby bushes. The man quickly got back in his car and drove home to Titi. However he never recovered from his shocking and frightening enconter with the tiger that he died 3 days later. He was 54 years old.

Coming back to Mr Lim's encounter two years ago he was driving with his friends to Kuala Musang using the old balak road. They witnessed a black panther kocked down by a passing lorry. The lorry driver just drove on and did not stop. Mr Lim applied his car brakes and from the distance they could see the black panther was lying slumped on the road curb. His excited friends wanted to open the doors of the car and collect the dead animal. Mr Lim is by no means a faint hearted man and he had also been an ex-soldier and had even put up a fight when confronted with a knive welding robber and disarmed the latter.

Mr Lim immediate response was to bark out and order to his friends" Do not get out of the car! The black panther may be still alive!!! " He drove away quickly from the accident scene to live and tell me the tale.

The moral of the story is: until it is affirmed to be dead, do not assume so! BN after 308 general elections appeared to be going down however it is not dead! It is very much alive with transformation and changes. Budget 2011 and 1Malaysia will walk on hand in hand to ensure that BN is strategically placed in the hearts of the Rakyat.

BN is ALIVE!!!!!

  1. I like the spread of the Black Panther and the species in each continent differs:
    1) Wild Black panthers in Latin America black jaguars ( Panthera onca)
2)In Asia & Africa black leopards( Panthera pardus)
    3) North America black jaguars or black cougars( Puma concolor)
